Quoted from DeathHimself:

I wouldn't mind tinkering with them and figure out a good install method, just tossing that out there

There is no difficulty or issue with the install or anything to figure out. It is done and 100% ready to roll. It installs 90%+ the same as my type 12 kits. The issue is the small differences are ones that, if not mentioned, I would get e-mail after e-mail everyday about being different and people saying the kits "don't work" because 1 small thing was different and not specified. I can not edit the PDF install file that I have for installing the light frames and I don't want to remake them from the ground up. So that leaves me linking to the type 11 and 12 install and pointing out things that ARE different in the install process with this kit and then fielding e-mails from all of the folks that don't read the part about somethings being different.

Putting this kit in after you have already installed a type 12 kit (or even a type 11 kit for the most part) is easy going.

Just wanted to give tdiddy a shout out on his tesla mod. You guys did a great job with these!

Is it feasible just to put an addendum instruction sheet in the kits along with the original install pdf's for the type 14 kits?

Did the same recently, diddys stuff is very nice, he seems to take the time others don’t to process his prints and get the finish on them really nice. Voted him for a TWIPY I was that impressed.

#505 2 years ago

FYI for speaker lights another option that looks great is the Type 12 kit with the sound activated controller. It’s off when you’re not playing and then as soon as you hit Start you get a great full color interactive light show with the action, the colors compliment the colorful art package imo

I have an early kit of the flame lights and it's worth the wait. He will get it done.

I don't include any install instructions in any of my light kits. I haven't since launching my website and filling orders myself in 2014. I don't want to charge extra for the paper, ink, time and added shipping weight to include them. Yes, an added 8 - 10 pages would take some <1lb orders over 1lbs and increase the shipping charges.

I have all of my install instructions on-line. If a person got on my website to buy an item, they should be able get on my website to see how to install that item. I also like having the install instruction available to potential buys in advance so they can see what they will be getting and getting into with the install before making their purchase. I don't have anything to hide and it's all shown right there, before a purchase is made.

Oh man, finally destroyed New York. Put up a personal high score of 464 million. I know that's not an impressive score but a pretty good accomplishment for me so far.

I love this damn game so much

Of all the mods I've installed so far, this one by John_I of Space Coast pinball is still my favorite. It's clever and makes me laugh whenever I see it.

You got the go go sticker too I hope?

Quoted from Hayfarmer:

You got the go go sticker too I hope?

That one I hadn't gotten, not because I didn't think it was great (because I do!) but rather because I already have an full-apron art magnet on order from Wizard Mod.

#516 2 years ago

Stern is featured on a new Modern Marvels, Season 19, Episode 5 “Classic Toys”. It’s a good show IMO.

What sticker is that?

#518 2 years ago
Quoted from DugFreez:

It is done and 100% ready to roll.

As a buyer it’s really painful to read that it’s 100% ready to roll but isn’t listed anyway. It reminds me of wc 86 when the coach said to Stein: „Yes I know you are the better goalkeeper but you won’t play anyway.“

Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

BallyKISS1978 It's a magnet that covers the yellow "warning" area on the apron with a Kanji "Go go Godzilla" red with yellow design, cheers. Same shop. Enjoy!

I have a mod idea for someone, if interested.

On the Premium/LE, the pinballs coming off the roof of the building to start multiball frequently drain. It's kind of annoying. If there was some sort of small shim installed on top of the building, that might possibly be avoided.

small rubber dot on the plastic that they roll onto would do the trick

I did this too and it's works well.

We've been getting TONS of requests to do our Sling Shot and Return Lane protectors in a variety of colors.

So in case you didn't know... we'd be more than happy to do them in any color combination that you'd like; Fluorescent Yellow, Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Green, Fluorescent Blue or simply in Clear.

When placing your order through our website, simply put what color you'd like your protectors to be in the "Notes To Seller" section of the order form and we'll make it happen.

Below is a link to all of our Godzilla MODs:

Here’s a few photos of the premium lights I installed. Credit to Diddys Mods for the Tesla Strike Towers and arcadebar for the idea for the for the Mechagodzilla stand up targets lighting and scoop light.

I added a comet pinball fire post LED behind the building to create a fire effect. I used a piece of plastic from a kid’s cabinet safety lock, painted it black, glued the LED to the plastic, then zip tied the plastic to the post which holds the wire form at the back left of the building. When the building collapses at the start of GZ multiball the fire light is exposed for a couple seconds before the building raises again. I’m sure there’s a more elegant solution to hold the light but I used what I had in my tool box.

Aren't the rings metal now instead of plastic? If that is the case you need to buy plastic rings along with the speaker light kit Type 13. https://www.speakerlightkits.com/SPIKE-2-Standard-or-Deluxe.html

After some trial and error I agree toe into the red GI so it illuminates when the other red bulbs do (especially when the building collapses). I also added to more fire LEDs underneath each Tesla strike stand up on either side of the building and now the building looks like a ball of fire!

I ordered from Wizard Mods the magnetic apron decal, speaker decal and lockbar button. I also installed the art blades in my Premium too. Upgraded my Godzilla figure and changed tmolding to lime green initially but changed it to red on head.

Sorry Lermods, though I did take inspiration from those and a bunch of other powerline towers, they are not a direct print from thingverse. But thanks for sharing those, they would need some redesign, base plates, coil tops, supports etc. and of course leds and the wire harness. But if anyone needs help feel free to reach out to me on this one or any other mod question, and if I can't answer them I'm sure Lermods can.
