Quoted from ejg10532626:

I counted 3 significant differences. Likely there are more.
A. The ramp system, with the short right ramp cross over.
B. The big left ramp shot tunnels under the right side of the playfield, or appears to.
C. Ecto goggles, whatever that is, missing from pro.

The Pro right ramp is a "WWE" two way ramp. Right ramp shot goes around and comes down the left ramp. Not a fan of that at all.

#153 8 years ago
Quoted from Eskaybee:

The Right Ramp (pro) reverses and comes back down the right side feeding the right flipper.

I still can't figure out how this works looking at all of the pictures. Unless it is just a slow gravity thing. Looks to be clear sailing for the ball until it nearly gets to the bend of the left ramp.

Quoted from markmon:

Think attack from Mars.

You are going to have to be more specific b/c if you are referring to the right ramp on AFM, the geometry is completely different. People keep saying that it is just going to reverse direction, but looking at the high res pics it sure doesn't look like there is anything to change the direction.

Quoted from jathomp22:

The feature matrix for the pro says it's a "Bi-directional ramp." I would interpret that as it goes up the right ramp over and down the left ramp. Like WWE.

That is what I have been eluding to, but every time I mention it somebody says it will feed the right flipper.

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:

There doesn't look to be any diverter up there so a left ramp shot will feed the right flipper and a right ramp will ???. Won't know until gameplay but hopefully it isn't designed to go SDTM.

I don't like that on WWE and the idea of it is annoying as it feels like you are getting punished for making a shot.

Quoted from DefaultGen:

If the pro gets a right ramp that diverts to either an inlane or down the left ramp, I think that would be more interesting than the premium right ramp.

I really hope there is a post or something up there like Tron had on its orbit to make the ball go back down the right. If it always goes to the left ramp that will kind of blow.

Quoted from Eskaybee:

I asked Dwight himself and he said it does in fact go up the right ramp and returns back to the right flipper.

Well he would know. Good to hear.

IDK all I can see is that damn comic sans font (my eyes!!!)
Jk

That isn't Comic Sans. It is a comic style font, but not Comic Sans, which is way worse.

I wanted to clarify my statement that Comic Sans is way worse than what is on the playfield. I didn't word that very well.
