Quoted from PinB:

Ecto & Stay Puft are Premium.
3rd art package is the Pro which has the Firehouse on the sides of the cabinet heads & the Terror Dog up front on the translite artwork.

Found it.

Quoted from Beyndtstng:

I second this question. Before I drop 8k on the LE, I would like to see the differences. Is that a price increase from the last stern offering?

LE 500 machines produced with different Art (Slimer package), Shaker, LE Green armor, presumably more clear coat to cover signature on playfield, real back glass not translite, LE cert and number plate. Not sure if I missed anything?

#53 4 years ago

Awesome. Looks like Gary has 2 hits in a row after GoT. Generally it's more like one hit followed by an average or sub-par pin

#54 4 years ago
Quoted from Concretehardt:

LE 500 machines produced with.... real back glass not translite,....

I wouldn't expect real backglass, whatever that means (has been debated here for a while). TWD machines used the same language in the same Stern literature, yet many complained the LE didn't have real backglass. Even so, the TWDLE translite looked great to me.

I love the backglass in TWDLE hopefully the backglass in GB LE looks even better in person!

Awesome!

Thanks pat

Do we know how many LE's will be made?

EDIT: Scrolled up, thanks

Quoted from Beyndtstng:

500 LE's and I'm sure those will go fast.

These look great. It's nice to see hand drawn art instead of the standard clipart Stern is known for. I can't wait to play it!

#60 4 years ago

That is one nice looking playfield.

#61 4 years ago

I love the look of the machine, especially the playfield. Hits the theme right on.

#62 4 years ago

looks great but sad the Pro lost the second ramp

any shots close up of the pro

#63 4 years ago

Man just imagining the premium chromed out.

#64 4 years ago

Nice work Stern! Now my short-list! Artwork and colors look great!

#65 4 years ago

Interested in seeing the hologram effect. Looks like a fun game. nicely done Stern.

#66 4 years ago

Are these available now?

Hey guys. Here's some info I got regarding some questions that has come up:

The Right Ramp (pro) reverses and comes back down the right side feeding the right flipper.

The Subway ramp goes down and back up to feed the right flipper without stopping. OR it can be stopped below and diverted to a 3-ball lock. The 3-ball lock then feeds the subway vuk. Most of the time the ball will come back the right flipper.

The PRO Slimer moves up and down. The PRE moves left and right and can block the ramp.

The Ecto Goggles are VERY cool. It is PINBALL 200 shrunk down to one shot.

Quoted from Eskaybee:

So its a 200 vs. 2000 because its one shot instead of the whole game?

Just kidding. Should be pretty cool then.

Quoted from Lermods:

Voices can be added as it was done for walking dead...it will be a while, though.

No need. I asked Stern via Facebook if Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson voice audio from the films will be in the game and was told yes. Stern got the licensing situation spot on with this title.

#70 4 years ago

Looks pretty cool. I just hope my local operators agree and pick one up. I'd gladly drop a few dollars in one of these.

Ask your distributor.

Quoted from vid1900:

At least we finally have confirmation that a LCD display will be delivered by Stern this year.

what do you mean?

#73 4 years ago

Tried to post the pictures but didn't work. Some nice close up pictures of the playfield here:

Hope those drop targets that pop up halfway up the pf are durable. If not I hope they can be disabled.

#75 4 years ago
Quoted from Cruster:

Me too! I hope that the ball does not bounce of them over the flippers and slings like the Hulk drop targets in Avengers.

Looking forward to adding the LE to our collection.

#76 4 years ago

That playfield looks fully loaded. Curious what the "para-normal" and ecto goggles reference on their website will do.

Pepper's Ghost effect.....like Pinball 2000, but on a tiny scale.

#78 4 years ago

Deposit down on LE. They say projected ship late May early June......I'm guessing October......lol

#79 4 years ago

who wrote the software?

Quoted from pascal-pinball:

Dwight Sullivan

Same design as mustang and they held up great when I owned it.

#82 4 years ago

I must admit that I was kind of meh' on the rumors of a Ghost Busters pin, but after seeing the photos of the Premium, I'm very interested. I won't be ordering right away like I did with my KISS Pro, but will wait for one to pop up on Craig's List eventually.

#83 4 years ago

It looks nice... chagrined that we still dont have a color dmd/lcd panel...

#84 4 years ago

and he also did GOT??

#85 4 years ago
Quoted from Manimal:

Strange - I've heard from two distributors that Stern is saying the LE is late April / Early May shipment .. And Premiums are late May / early June.

#86 4 years ago
Quoted from Tigger64:

wow! If this plays as good as it looks, Stern has winner.

Wait, you mean people still PLAY pinball?

I was starting to think most bought based on theme, cabinet color scheme and playfield artwork....

#87 4 years ago
Quoted from Eskaybee:

The Right Ramp (pro) reverses and comes back down the right side feeding the right flipper.

So... in multiball a left ramp shot and right ramp shot happening at the same time is going to have balls colliding head on, halfway along the ramp... Premium it is for me.

#88 4 years ago

Do certain distributors get the games first over others?

Yes.

Better to have a DMD then the full screen stuff JJP is doing but it should be LCD with color.

#91 4 years ago
Quoted from shlockdoc:

what do you mean?

I mean this:

Dankberg told us that “[Stern] will be releasing LCD display technology this year.”

Aren't you the one harping on the DMD still being there?

looks like stern actually listened and gave people what they were asking with this one.

No cookie cutter layout
hand drawn artwork
lots of toys
original voices

Looks great. Hopefully it will have a ruleset to compliment.

I do.

We'll know in 2-3 years....

Yup. Back to back. Unusual for sure....

Lets hope Zombie Yeti has a long career at Stern. Picking him up was like drafting Tom Brady. He is an instant industry giant based on what I have seen of GB, not to mention the work he did for Jpop. Any game he does will sell more whether it is a good playing game or not!

#98 4 years ago
Quoted from jar155:

Aren't you the one harping on the DMD still being there.

by harping, you mean 1 post? Yes. guilty. lol

Someone said Stern was "ushering in a new golden age of pinball", I felt that was a bit too much hyperbole....

Also, not sure how you feel that is incongruent with my sarcastic post about folks still wanting to play the game before buying...

hell yes
