I would say WWE is on that list.
MUN is heading there quickly.

Avatar is challenging and fun. My only complaint is that it can feel too hard sometimes. But it’s a very similar rule set to Iron Man.

Missed Ripley’s on your list, I love that theme. Might be in the minority on that one, but it reminds me of the cheezy show from the 80’s. Rule set is awesome too.

I like high roller casino. It gets a bad wrap from some but I think its under rated. Not a masterpiece or anything, but good fun every time i have played it. "Ultra, mega, super duper jackpot! or whatever is rewarding to collect.

NASCAR, Ripley's and world poker tour are a solid games too.

Are any good? Absolutely, RBION is a top 5 game for me. World Poker Tour has a really deep ruleset and I would definitely own one. Some others are pretty good for what they are. They are of course a few real dogs on that list, top of that list would be IJ4.

Stern Indiana Jones seems to have spiked a bit in popularity over the past few years and now seems to be selling in the $4k - $5k range.

A number of these titles can fall into the $4k+ range depending on condition.

I’d say it isn’t too common to find a Rolling Stones at under 4K unless heavily routed and beat. Even then somewhat rare.

You could probably find someone to part with a routed first run IM at 4k firm. It would go fast.

Otherwise, under 4K, I’d go Ripley’s on the list.

I recently sold a loaded Avengers Pro for 3500 and an x-men pro for 4k that was super nice. Maybe I left money on the table though. X-men is a pretty good game and I really like avengers. Just had it for 6 years and wanted a deadpool so it had to go.

That's a good point. It's becoming rarer to find Stern games built prior to 2010 that are in HUO condition, many are beat due to being routed. There can be a $1k - $2k swing with the games being mentioned here depending if a game is a nice HUO example or has been heavily routed.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a heavily routed Stern IJ sell for $4k and a nice HUO example to sell for $5k.

Is Transformers Pro still under $4k? I picked one up for $3k a few years ago and I couldn’t wait to get rid of it.

Good call on Transformers. Pros are definitely under $4k. I picked my old routed Pro up for under $3k working perfectly and I wanted it gone within 2 weeks. Thought it was going to have staying power after playing it on route, I was very wrong. One of the fastest games in and out I have ever had. I had an opportunity to pick up another one within the last month or two in the $3's but had zero interest.

Within the last year I sold a Rolling Stones for $3600, so I can say first hand they are available under $4k.

From the current <$4k list I'd rate Ripleys & Xmen Pro at the top, followed by Elvis & Avatar.

I once bough a heavily routed LOTR for $3800, but I had to dump a lot into it to get it back to respectable.

WPT is a damn good game... lots of drops, upper playfield, good flow, great ruleset. Plays long but that's the nature of Keefer games. I kept this over WOZ, just more fun to play. Take the lamp out of the backbox and stick it between two other games to hide the art and you're set!

Avatar is a great game imo, deserves more love. Obviously everyone knows WPT has a hell of a lot of game for the price. I’ve heard the same compliments for RBION.
Everything else, meh. I kinda enjoy Monopoly but it’s like Lawlor’s “out of steam” game. He had like 5 smash hits in a row before that, by the time he got to Monopoly all the mojo was gone.

IJ4 along with Sopranos and Elvis also belong there.

A lot of the 2000-2005 games from Stern were so terribly forgettable. Then they had some smash hits, and another few years of yawns.

Always thought there was a lot of game there for what a High Roller Casino goes for.

My meter is probably way off because I haven't played most of the newer games but I worked for an Op years ago and had a Sharkey's Shootout on location, I loved it. Very fun to me, and at the time Jeanette Lee was still playing a lot and helped out the backglass.

POTC sometimes slips in under $4k. Although that was only the case after JJP released their POTC.

Agree. I ended up with one in a deal of 3 games - still have it. Probably Lawlors most flow game, lots of neat little Lawlor touches, and just a blast to play. I was pleasantly surprised. And the playfield is loaded !

Elvis is missing from the list. However, you really need to be a fan of his music. The hound dog howling can get repetitive. Game play isn't terrible.

T3 is a fun game and actually has custom call-outs from the main character, wouldn't it be nice if all the modern games had that again? The metal ramps are great to combo as well. I wanted to like Austin Powers because I LOVE the movies but that game is just bad.

Another vote for RBION being a great game! I definitely wouldn’t let mine go for $4k - let alone under - but it’s HUO and one of my favorites. Every shot is a significant strategic decision once you really understand the rules. Even in the multiball modes, you need to decide if you go for the jackpots chasing RIPLEYS letters, build the jackpot values first, or try to get an add-a-ball. The grid seems like a luck box at first, but after you understand it it is 90% skill and strategy. Major stacking potential and - no matter the score - you are never really in jail and it never feels like chopping wood to me.

I feel like I NEVER see the Stern Indy for under $5k for some reason. Not sure why everybody hates that game as much as they do. There was one on location close by to me for a while and. I definitely didn't mind it!

Avatar is way under rated due to the one ramp issue. Its rules have a feel similar to Iron Man and Tron. It is a beautiful game , especially the 3d back glass.
The call outs are excellent and plentiful. It is a speed game as well. Right at the 4K mark plus or minus a few.

Ripleys is a fun game that has a loyal following.

Austin Powers is cheap. Sadly not just in price, but also quality.

I'm probably in the minority, but I really enjoy quite a few stern titles from 2000-2010. Monopoly, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Elvis, Ripleys Believe it or not, sopranos and avatar. And there's others such as xmen (2012 but close enough), world poker tour, high roller casino and T3 that I really hope to try some day.

Only thing I miss on T3 is that Red mode but still good candidate for below $4k.
Ripleys is best on the list for me anyways as I'm on my second one. Over $4k for this one in fantastic shape. Just more too it with game play. Yea quirky
but fun and challenging.

Every High Roller Casino I've ever played was a solid feeling game. Always a seemingly well-built machine. I got a fantastic deal for my NASCAR. Tons of game for the price.
