Hey all, just wondering to look for with faulty upper playfield pop bumper as it goes off randomly with things like the spinner being activated or other areas of playfield setting it off at times, TIA

Probably too sensitive of a switch. Pop the hood and gap the switch right underneath the plastic spoon under the playfield to make it a bit more open. Then play another game and see how it is.

If, however, it is gapped properly, it could be a short in the switch matrix like a shorted diode. Look to see what switches are closed when it happens. If they form a rectangle on the switch matrix, it is likely a shorted diode at one of the switches.

Also could be a flaky capacitor on the switch. Try removing it, and if that fixes the issue, replace it. Pop will work fine without the cap

All great suggestions here. OP shouldn’t have any problems sorting it out.

    Thanks
