Anyone interested about a Stern Freefall reproduction plastic set.
10 or more interested collectors needed to see this new repro plastic set in reality from Pinball Rescue
Just bought a Stern Quicksilver repro plastic set from them and they are super nice and screened very well, nice vibrant colors !

I think mine are fine, but my game is in storage right now and I can't check it.

#4 2 years ago

Would love a set. mine has 2 plastics on it, that's it, I have been looking for a set for about 6 months.

#5 2 years ago

Thank you bluespin for mentioning me I just came across this by accident and still looking.

#6 2 years ago

I'll have to check mine. Can't remember if the ones on my game were fully intact or not.

#7 2 years ago

If this doesn't happen, I would be happy hpr for you to make or do a special order on a set of plastics if it is possible.

#8 2 years ago

Ok, I'm in. A couple of mine are damaged.

#9 2 years ago

pretty sure I'm in, I'll let you know tomorrow.

not bad, well if that's the case I can do 2 sets at that price if it'll help get the run going.

Agreed, I will do two sets as well to help the process.

We need more people for this project to happen, let's go Freefall is a great game
HPR +1
force flow +1
mappy_mouse +2
hocuslocus +2

#17 2 years ago

Sure why not. I just finished restoring this one and it doesn't really need plastics, but I hate to pass them up on a rare machine like this. You never know when you'll break something.

Thanks! And if you decide to make a run of the plastics and you need payment, I will sometimes go weeks without looking at Pinside, however you can email me at david.yopp@comcast.net. Just let me know and I’ll try to remember to check in here as well.

holy crap, that is like a world better looking then mine.
did you re-stencil it? the cabinet looks great.

I didn't paint the cab it was just in really good shape. I like to leave the original paint visible, battle scars and all, as long as the cabinet is structurally sound. I only had to pull the mylar on this one, level the inserts and clear it, as well as rebuild all mechs (pops, slings, flips, etc) and repin connectors and replace all the boards. It was in someone's home for 20+ years so underneath the old dirt and bad electronics it was really a pretty machine.

Pinball Rescue is the one who can make this happen but they need 10 or more commitment !
They are working great, bought a Quicksilver screened repro from them and i'm super happy

Sorry about cpr but they don't screen plastic anymore, they are doing digital printing now, not the same effect and result.

Considering buying this game, are the the plastics going to be available, or just speculation?

Unfortunately until we can get 10 or more to commit as HPR said, the chances are not good.

Ok so there were like 3 broken plastics on the Freefall im fixing. Thats enough broken ones to justify a new set, so count me in for a set!

#30 1 year ago

Are we at 10 with ltd73 and ronnie1114.... I've lost count

cricket..... cricket bump.
We currently have 31% of pinside owners on the list... Guessing that's above average compared to other games.
There were 1200 made, did they all get thrown away or something?

#41 1 year ago

I sure wish I could find one to buy. They just don't seem to come up at all.

#42 1 year ago

Still hoping.....

#43 1 year ago

Good luck guys, I hope you drum up enough interest to get it into production.

I just did the same thing with Gottlieb’s Big Hit. Almost didn’t make it, but a very generous Pinsider offered to buy 2 sets even though he doesn’t even own the game.

I also PMed all of the people who are listed as owners just in case they didn’t see my forum post (hope I wasn’t too intrusive).

#44 1 year ago
Quoted from SilverBallKid:

If I ever sell mine, I don't expect to find another one for a long time.

I think dragonfist surfaces more often than freefall, and that's a pretty rare bird too with only 302 made.

#45 1 year ago

I installed these boards in my meteor, and they make things much easier.
Found out recently they had them for freefall as well, ordered mine for the restore when I get my playfield back.

Getting my playfield cleaned up. I think my plastics are nice enough to use with it once it’s touched up and cleared. I’m sorry I don’t think I’ll be able to help you guys out.
