I have a Star Trek (premium) 2016 stern sam system that i recently installed a few mods (under cabinet lights and external volume control) and as soon as I turned it on the speakers didn't work (no sound at all). So I checked the speaker connections and nothing was out of the ordinary and even uninstalled the mods but still nothing worked. So I read on here to update the game code ( I have 1.61 trying to update to 1.62). When I click through the utilities menu to USB game code updates and followed the instructions it gets stuck on the " REBOOTING" screen FOR HOURS! I've tried power cycling and starting over but nothing works to help with the progression of the reboot screen. Anyone have an ideas what is wrong or tip to help?? thx.

Lermods I followed the prompted instructions flipping the dipstick 8 from off to on. Then pressed select to begin the reboot and the screen has been on the "rebooting" screen for a hours and haven't gotten to the selection of the drive of the usb yet. But I will make sure to use an 8 gb for that part (thanks for the tip). Know why the console cannot complete the reboot?
