Sounds like something isn't lined up quite right. Have a pic of the flare? All mine sit basicly flush.

That is quite a bit of flare. I'll have to look at my GB next time I'm in the location it's at and see if mine flare that bad.

mine have a tiny amount of flare also maybe 2-3mm but his seem like quite a bit.

Both sides were nice and flush when I first set them on the machine. They didn't flare until I tightened down the nut on the back side of the screw at the top of the button. def give that a try, i snug mine but dont get to crazy tight on them.
