Did you check them with a meter? Looks can be deceiving. Don’t even trust new switches.

Yeah makes sense. Miss the part where you were messing around in switch test. Hmmm. So new cabinet switch already. I would just go ahead a rebuild the flippers as you said it needed that anyway.
Have you tried having the playfield lifted with game on and watch the mechs as you flip? There could be something catching or binding from time to time that you cannot see with the playfield down.

Both the Top left and bottom left flipper both either work or don’t work together. I’ve never had just the upper or lower not work independently.
So it seems like a problem with getting power or signal but definitely not a mechanical problem.
How does the upper flipper get power? Via the lower flipper EOS stack?
