I've always thought Dracula was a cool game...I'd love to find one some day. Sorry, I don't have a specific answer to your question, but I'd second what ForceFlow said. If it was painted over with Latex, you might be able to strip the latex off and then make a homemade stencil of what's left of the original paint. Homemade stencils are straightforward to do, but definitely a lot of work (I've done it before once).

Not necessarily. I bought a pin once that the owner said they repainted beige in order to match the furniture.
