I'm finally fed up with Stern's delays. Cancelled my order for SMVE. Prepaid in early May thinking the games were in stock or would be shortly. Not the case. Then I get the word no production until August. Called my distributor a few days ago and he said no production until October. F that.... I'm out. My distributor understood and sent a refund. It doesn't help that Stern doesn't return emails or voice mails either. Maybe I'll just take the money and buy a new motorcycle instead...

If you own pinball machines... you always are looking for more/other pinball machines. If you own motorcycles... you are always looking for more/other motorcycles.

I guess I'm just pissed at Stern for taking the fun out of this purchase for me. I played the SMVE at MGC and absolutely loved it, sold a few games to get the cash for one, ordered and paid for one and then I'm told over and over just wait. Wait 6 months and then what... maybe wait some more? Lesson learned.

I still think it's a great game, but Stern needs to know that when they pull crap like this they will lose sales. I'm pissed so no sale.

Will I pick one up in the future? Maybe. Will a different pin pop up instead. Possibly. Could I blow the pin fund on a another cycle? Who knows.

That came to mind as well. Good thinking...
