Hi,

While playing I noticed that flipper either left or right triggers the centrifuge.

In test, while pushing left or right flipper: in addition to the dedicated switches, the display briefly shows sw33 “enter centrifuge”.

Shaking the pin without flipping does not make anything. Actuating the pop bumper not either. Hence, I can exclude a wire making contact with another, or a bad connector on the optos or the opto boards.

It is specifically linked to flipping, which switches are that are dedicated switches.

How can these dedicated switches interact with the common switches of the switch matrix ?

I have a couple of these transmitter receiver new optos. They can be used in either on these machines if I remember well.

I ll replace them first. The smd soldering is out of question for me so if opto are not the issue, entire boards will have to be replaced.

According to you, nothing on the cpu, right ?
I ll check tomorrow by jumping sw matrix connector pins in test mode.

Thanks for your experience sharing
