    Obviously, they are doing well right now. I emailed Stern inquiring about a distributor opportunity. I never got an email back. I have qualified locations available in Indiana, Michigan, and Florida. They obviously already have more business than they can handle. I applaud them for this.

    Why does it matter what a dealer pays or what Stern's cost is? If you are that concerned then simply:

    1. Don't buy a machine
    2. Start your own pinball factory
    3. Become a distributor / dealer.

    Otherwise, you are simply a consumer and you will pay whatever the market dictates. I have never seen such dysfunction in any hobby / sport. This is likely why pinball has one major manufacturer and a few boutique players. I'm not sure there is enough sanity to go around. Move on boys - nothing to see here anymore.
