From Facebook:

"Rumor has it that we are hard at work on another X-Men pinball code update. This rumor is correct!"

Good news

Don't you think they should?

I commend them for confirming to us that they have not abandoned this game. Its a great game, but obviously they have pulled some boners in the original code as well as the code updates. Thanks for making me sleep better Gary.

Hopefully not too little too late.

XMen has every thing it needs to be one of the top pinball machines ever made . . . except for good code. The dots are original and good. The light show is good. The art is original and good. There are no actors faces that will make the machine look dated one day. The music is fantastic (though some of the voice work is sub par; Storm's especially).

If they simply added saved progression on villians and magneto the code would be 50% improved. Then they could polish the stacking and fix night crawler and the moving ramp and the game is pretty much done in my view . . . and one of the best games Stern has.

Let's hope this code update meets everyone's expectations . . . from last August . . .

I doubt it will be too little too late. Well, as long as its not too little. I mean, if they address the issues which most people seem to want, which shouldn't be too difficult, then it will save the game. If they flubb it up again, then this game will sink.

It's never too little too late in pinball. It seems that a lot of people forget that this is *not* the first time that a game has shipped with incomplete code, and it *won't* be the last time either. At about this point in SM's life, a LOT of people really disliked the code. See how that turned out...

The game is only 6 months old.

People need to stop buying games from Stern until they are complete, and tested! It's the only REAL way to demand change. X-Men could/should have been fantastic on Day 1; the potential is there.

Stop settling for less!

I agree. If your still willing to pay so much for something that you know is unfinished. Where is there motivation to FINISH a game before releasing it?
