Anyone have the instructions or a working link to update code for stern? Can't seem to find anything. Been a while since I've had to do it. Thanks.

Right, but where are the instructions to do it, that link us just to the library of code. I'm on my iPad so maybe it's just not showing.

PINBALL GAME SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

1) Download the latest code for your game by visiting
http://www.sternpinball.com/game-code
and following the links to the software update
file for your specific game model.
2) Place game software update file (GAMENAME-VERSION.spv)
into the root directory of a blank FAT32-formatted USB flash drive.
Do not place more than one .spv files at a time in the root directory
of the USB flash drive.
3) Use backbox power switch to turn off game.
4) Plug the USB flash drive into a CPU board USB connector at CN20 or CN21.
5) Turn the game on.
6) The game will automatically begin the software update and the following
message will be displayed: "APPLYING UPDATE PLEASE WAIT".
IMPORTANT: DO NOT turn the pinball machine off while this message
is displayed. This message may remain on the screen a long period of time.
7) When the display indicates "UPDATE COMPLETE", turn the game off.
Remove the USB flash drive from the CPU board.
9) Turn the game on to play pinball!

Quoted from thundergod76:

of the USB flash drive.

This is not a problem at all. I have all my codes on the same stick. You can choose which code you want by using the flippers. They show up on the DMD.

That's great to know thanks for the info!

I had 4 .bin files on the stick in the root directory, no issues. You can scroll through with the menu buttons. You dont want sub directories, though, as noted.

Basically, it was:
1. Turn game off
2. Insert usb
3. Move dip switch 8 to the left (off)
4. Turn on game
5. It will scan your usb, select file you want
6. Hit update. Up to you whether you want to verify, I didn't. It doubles the install time.
7. Remove USB when it's done
8. Move dip switch 8 back to the right.
9. Restart the game.
