    Quoted from rai:

I got my first JJP game RR Woz with RadCals it's so well made and solid there is no comparison to Stern build quality.

Yeah but the theme sucks and for me its not that fun to shoot at all, build quality right? I would much rather play TWD or MET.

    Quoted from Mike_J:

Agreed, MET is an awful theme, but I own a Pro and Premium because the gameplay is top notch.

U own 2 models of the same game? that makes sense.
I liked Met until the black album and thusly while I enjoyed the pin it didn't last long, great gameplay but I couldn't past Sandman and Fuel all those terrible songs and sold it, if you think Met is an awful theme but play it anyway because of the action thats very strange too me, but to each his own. Then again if I'm at a bar and on the patio lets say and theres a man in sandals out there, I leave the bar so I'm sick. but happy.

    Quoted from ExtremePinball:

Or you consider the fact that not everybody is a collector of pins. Some people, generally called operators, make money with these machines. You know, the way Go.....Gary intended.

Well that makes sense but then that changes the whole reason for owning several pins of the same title, an operator would buy a shitty pin if it earned well, he made it out like Met is so great I have both a Pre and Pro, I assumed he was an operator but had to be a jackass, its fun sometimes, just like you with the explanation of what an "operator" is. What r these op por a tors you speak of sir? see back to me being the jackass. I love it.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

the prices are what they are at because of the buyers. If the buyers refused the price. the prices would go back to normal. As long as you guys keep lining up, the prices are going to continue to go up every release until people stop.

Maybe or maybe that will be the end of new pinball machines being made, prices will not go down.

It's about getting value for your money. Someone please try and argue that Star Wars is a good value. PLEASE. I need a good laugh.

Its a great playing game and I believe the pro is worth it anyway.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

no, because they know they can still make money by lowering the price. they would have to be a bunch of dumbasses, to refuse to fix the business model that shot themselves in the foot and just close the doors, instead of making 300% profit margin.

I agree with you and wish it worked that way but it doesn't, is it stupid? yes, is that how it works? yes, will prices go down, No?

    Quoted from Mike_J:

I got in about 20 games on a Pro at Jillys in Ocean City, NJ. I watched as even diehard Star Wars fans walked away from the machine disappointed. One game was enough for most.

If one game is enough to past judgment then they aren't pinball players, they are douche bags trying a game with the SW all over it, I doubt they are buying the pin or returning to dump money into it on site, the pin is amazing and this horseshit regarding value is just that horseshit, IM, GOT,TRON, many open concept fast games are considered some of the best out there, just because they aren't toys are all over it and magnets underneath doesn't make it a good pin.

    Quoted from kvan99:

It's still the worst theme integration in recent history, still ghosting inserts, still crap code and scoring. Still cut and paste scenes and call outs. Can we get real here folks?

    more horseshit.

    Quoted from flashinstinct:

I highly doubt star wars will be in the top 50 5 years from now.

    That's important

    #753 6 years ago
    Quoted from flashinstinct:

Yes and no...afm has a drop bank in front with the scoop in the back combined with the saucer. MET has the 3 target bank with the magnet. SW is a tie fighter on a coil with one target.

and a video mode that is quite enjoyable, especially during frantic gameplay.

    Quoted from frunch:

ust to be clear, you're saying SW Pro is 10x the game TNA is?

Yes I am, by that I don't mean its more fun mind you, if TNA floats ur boat and the gameplay style is what u love then thats great, I want to play it and I'm sure I will like it very much but going by all this BOM shit and what comes with it in terms of code and all that most definitely. Actually I just realized I don't care at all. I'm glad both games are out there, just getting tired of this stuff I guess.
