My non-pin friend bought a Metallica. He didn't have any pinball machines, but is a Metallica mega fan. I also know a ton of guys in the arcade scene who didn't have pins, and Tron was their first since they love Tron so much. Some themes make non-pin peeps want the pin.

I have! A couple hardcore Ghostbusters fan friends - they were all excited to get one - when I cancelled my order and told them why, they lost interest.
