Quoted from T-800:I wonder if the inside looping wire form will keep your ball locks physically looping around those wire-forms as you play and try to lock more balls, sort of like planets orbiting the sun...
This sounds like the type of guessing that plagued the hobbit. everyone had really cool ideas like yours, then the release comes and everyone was disappointed.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Steve pretty much sums up my feelings here. It's hilarious seeing a thousand posts by people who care more about undercab lighting than actually playing whine about how bad a game is going to be based on some pictures.
Thats a bold claim from steve, wonder if his eyesight is gone after working on Game of thrones and this latest... ummm... horribly art package.
Quoted from zr11990:The game may yet play incredibly well but who wants a game with art that looks like someone glued Star Wars birthday plates cups and napkins to the pf. As some have said it was phoned in.
Steve Ritchie is a great guy but he will say whatever he needs to say to keep his job at Stern. He is kept on a short leash there and can only work within the parameters that Stern allows him to work with. Look at STTNG, Getaway and other games he designed for W/B and then look at the Stern games that have his name on them. They are pretty much cookie cutter fan layouts. For those of you who buy it. I hope it is the shit and you get wood every time you play it. I could never get past the birthday party playfield.
I bet with enough research you could round up all the stock pictures given to stern and used on birthday plates
Quoted from koops:Looks like you've just found a pack of 10 disposable toppers
dont give the topper people any ideas!
Quoted from Coolpinballdino:Found these at Walmart could be used as cool mods
Please dont hot glue in star wars toys as "mods"
$10 says lucasfilms is preventing Stern from releasing a gameplay video. Same thing happened with SWE1.
Quoted from frolic:So why did Lucasfilm stop Stern from releasing game footage of all their other games?
It's just the way Stern does things. With the exception of a few dead flip streams. Get ready for crappy cell phone camera footage as your first taste.
What other titles did Stern do for lucasfilm?
Quoted from TomGWI:Why? So know one sees clips from a 40 year old movie.
Lucasfilm doesn't need logic, its not about seeing the old clips. Its about seeing the new product before official release/ship date.
Quoted from snakesnsparklers:Too bad Stern doesn't give a shit, they have sold plenty already and will sell more before any gameplay video is released.
Quoted from lordloss:$10 says lucasfilms is preventing Stern from releasing a gameplay video. Same thing happened with SWE1.
No video will be released.
Quoted from clg:Let's face it the longer there is no video and no one has one to talk about the more derailed this thread will get.
We should have video once the first US pros are received. Sounds like someone had theirs shipped on friday.
