Just played a very nice Cirqus Voltaire tonight and a Mideval Madness original right next to a premium BM66. Wow, what a difference in quality and overall value between the old BW classics and the new cookie cutter Sterns. I can't see Star Wars being any different. Who really cares about a couple of cheap LCD screens when there's obvious cost cutting measures on the playfield and unfinished code?
I wonder if there would be more or less "critiquing" of new pins if you didn't have to justify the cost of (possibly) several paychecks?
