Ive been reading all day...watching this train wreck by Stern.
Not one comment on how ugly the apron is!
Lighted interactive apron people. Its the 21st century. Its Star Wars.

#1058 6 years ago
Quoted from DCFAN:

Does that mean the original Star Wars music will not be in the game?

It better have the John Williams score.

Quoted from scarybeard:

It will most deffinitely have the original music and sound effects. But some dude needs to mix and program the triggers.
Probably a lot of original noises as well.

It better have the John Williams score.

Did someone say Jaws widebody pin?
Richard Dreyfus is still Alive right, i didn't google it?
This will best Stern machine ever, if they have the balls to make it.
Worthy topic for a speculation thread.
Now back to Star Wars.

Wheres Slave Lea?

Quoted from erak:You wanna see accurate?
» YouTube video

This game looks amazing!

#3747 6 years ago
Quoted from beelzeboob:

They would never make a widebody. Too much wood=Too much BOM=Less profit.

You know, we have plastic compounds cheaper than wood now. Honeycomb polycarbonate.
Stronger than steel when used properly.

#3759 6 years ago
Quoted from Rob_G:

Quesiton, is it possible to request what LE # you get from Stern, or is it just a 'lottery'?
Rob

Usually a lottery. Get what you get. A lot of guys i know were not happy with there titled LE Batman's, there named after one of the episodes.

#3762 6 years ago
Quoted from cooked71:

You can pay extra to get a guaranteed LE number.

Only if in stock and not taken. Ive also seen distributors get a batch and you pick from from that lot, say 5-12 to choose from. But, better be in good with them and a repeat customer.

#3766 6 years ago
Quoted from J85M:

Batman 66 was certainly the biggest lottery when it came to which LE your going to get, as each one was not only numbered but named and not all the gadgets/episodes have great names. I got lucky with mine

What episode did you get?

#3782 6 years ago

Im going to need a really realistic Death Star topper, at least 15 inch wide. Lots of mini led highlights and detail. Budget, $300.

#3814 6 years ago
Quoted from J85M:

Death Star is in the game, topper needs to be lightsabers, there are not enough lightsabers in this game and you can never have to many lightsabers
X wing vs tie fighter would also be cool especially if animated and interactive.

I already purchased a pin 2k light sabor and power supply to put over shooter lane.

Does anyone have a PRO yet???????
Ant
Anything delivered yet???

#4145 6 years ago

Has anyone purchased some Nifty leds because of this thread?
Nifty i think are awesome bulbs and have great flashers.
I also think Nifty is the marketing genius here by starting this thread.
Stern, you learn anything yet?

#4154 6 years ago

Hold on!!
Its really time to start talking about the JAWS widebody stern coming out early 2018.
I dont expect gameplay video for it till its out.

#4219 6 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

I just won the pinball machine from Pinball EDU charity yesterday. I'm going with the Star Wars pro. My 2 tickets at $40 is very well spent this time around.

Wow, congrats..i wish i had gotten in on this one. Just missed it.

Quoted from Asylum:

I wish this thread just was...
I saw all the activity and got excited thinking video had dropped.

Nothing has dropped and apparently stern lost the plans to the Death Star.

#5213 6 years ago
Quoted from beelzeboob:

Okay, I just got done playing the game with DaveH and ForceFlow in a quiet setting with the sound turned WAY up and...
Wow. Just WOW. This game is truly a blast to play. Say what you want about the sparse playfield...it's lightning fast, immersive as hell, and the music and sound are incredible. I'm upgrading my previous 7 to a 9, and have deleted all previous comments I made lest they wrongly influence somebody on the fence ( konghusker , I'm looking at you!).
This is a game that seems already almost fully coded (much like GOT did when shipping), and it's just the fastest game I've ever played. All three of us had the ball drain at one point before we could even react with the flipper in time. Think AFM on steroids (good luck with the center drain off those LCD targets!).
Terrific game. Those of you who haven't played it need to get over the art and sparsity of the playfield and play a game before judging...and DON'T do it in a loud environment with people hanging over your back waiting to play. This will be a great addition to anybody's collection in a home environment, and should make a killing on location.
And PS - My wife was playing the other SW across the room and had a grin from ear to ear the whole time. She loves it and can't wait for us to get ours.

Where are some crapoy cell phone pics guys. Close ups and coverage please.
