Quoted from smassa:Maybe cause they don't have too??? They are going to sell like crazy wether or not they put a video out when YOU think they should.
It's definitely up to them how they want to market their game. It's just very painful to watch how poorly they choose to do so. A lot of us have been waiting for this title for a long time. Our first glimpse at the game came from low res pictures in a video not at all intended for pinball fans. The art in those original images looked questionable, and for the most part the initial reaction from the community was disappointment. They put out high res pictures a week later.
They allowed a promotional video to be shown that was just all-around poor. They eluded to (or at least others close to the situation have) a gameplay video being available "soon". Soon is subjective.. give some dates if you want people to have a reasonable expectation on when they can expect to see gameplay or more information. You have people's attention now, why not use that opportunity to build excitement on another update (if you don't have it ready now)? They have an opportunity to control a lot of the dialogue and perception surround this product, and they don't seem to understand how to do that.
I have a ton of X-Wing Miniatures from the tabletop game. They're pretty detailed for coming pre-painted. They're reasonably priced, but plastic. Here's the best source I've found for them:

The game is really pretty fun. You pretty much need a starter set if you're interested in giving it a go. My only complaint is the amount of setup time.
I'm not putting any of them on my playfield, but other people like that sort of thing. I'm just trying to give people a better avenue than hallmark
Also, there's nothing else to talk about.
I very much prefer the Pro having similar gameplay to the Premium and LE. I don't want to feel like I'm missing out on huge parts of the game because I didn't want to toss down another couple thousand dollars.
I do agree that the pops add little value to this (or almost any other recent) stern game. The only thing they seem to offer is a place to dump a ball while in multiball, but I'd rather see the cost of those coils go somewhere else in the game.
Quoted from DCFAN:Have you not seen Rogue One? The designer intentionally made the Death Star vulnerable to a catastrophic event.
To be fair, that was pretty much a 2.5 hour movie designed to cover up a notorious plot hole.
