I'd say for a little over 5k it's not a bad deal. You get the No Fear flow layout reversed (minus the jump ramp but with some pops) AND with more code to extend the gameplay. Not a bad concept as No Fear is a fast, fun game but the simple rules can get old somewhat quickly.
Sure the art is my 1979 lunchbox blown up and revisited *yet again* but the pretty decent light show makes up for it.
I find it hard to excited about seeing ancient video clips we're all bored with trotted out as if it's something fresh but I rarely look at displays anyways except for score info. I'm actually glad there is so much scoring info and mode decisions being done onscreen... I was afraid it would just be a load of nostalgia clips like BM66 currently is.
So if you want that one layout that really epitomizes the SR "king of flow" but also has enough code options to give it some legs this might not be a bad choice... in fact I think I'll go fire up my NF as I haven't played it in ages
