Quoted from Rob_G:

There is a long slit in the playfield on the left side of the left ramp (premium/LE). Some kind of ball lock area?
Rob

To me, it looks like those 2 slits form a ramp that elevates the ball to the flap just below the death star as a way to "shoot" the death star and possibly lock balls in it for a multiball release battle.

What do you think the hidden morse message says on the side rails?

#3667 6 years ago
Quoted from KozMckPinball:

Anyone remember where to get the corner brackets for the inside of Stern cabinets to prevent cracking? I know there's a thread somewhere....meanwhile I'll look for that thread. Trying to be pro-active about the upcoming Stern SW.

Almost anywhere that sells pinball parts, here you go:

Quoted from Chief:

You're welcome sir. It's a blast for sure. Definitely harder/shorter ball times than Star Trek I'd say.

Most important question: John Williams music score anywhere? I'm going to have real heartburn if not.

#3849 6 years ago
Quoted from beelzeboob:

It was right in the feature matrix, second line down. This was discussed many pages back...

My fault, I must have missed this among the 10's of thousands of Star Wars posts. Thanks for the heads up. I'll rephrase my question based on the above info:

How was the implementation of the Williams audio library in the game? Did they only use 1 or 2 scores? OOM theme music? In mode music?

Any info would be great. Music and sound is a big unknown with only photos to go off of so far.

I would imagine it was an option to have one/some quickly for a release event or something similar and was then blown into something much much more.

Quoted from konghusker:

Still no word on le/premium footage or ship dates?

LE is end of July/ beg Aug. Premiums will be later by a few months. I imagine footage would come from an LE in 2 weeksish if they are even planning on doing it.

It almost feels like I'm reading a conspiracy theorist site around here sometimes. I like to think of myself as having a healthy and appropriate level of scepticism when warranted, but I also try to assume positive intent whenever possible without being the guy sticking my head in the sand to the obvious.

I guess the world is just full of passionate people in every direction, the internet anonymity just tends to add a compounding factor to everything.

Probably just stating the obvious but I had a few minutes while eating lunch........

Which is worse, internet tough guys, internet police, or internet lawyers?

As awful as I feel for having to do it, I just hit send on my cancellation email.

I just can't see spending $8500 for what I'd be getting. I'll play the sidelines for a while and maybe pick up a pro down the road.

#6393 6 years ago
Quoted from beelzeboob:

My friend (who thought the game was $15000 like the BM66 SLE) just saw the LE today and thought it was awesome. He's looking to sell his Safecracker to get a SWLE. I may be PMing you to find out who your distro is. Mine is still sold out!

Ok just hit me up if you need.

Quoted from mummite:

Cool! odd that the T-molding is 2 colors. Can you get some close up pictures of the apron and rails. Thanks in advance and congrats!

Its just the tape to protect it. It hasn't been removed from one side.

Quoted from Hazoff:

Interesting, I think in the OG code it said projector, maybe that's been scraped.

If it did say projector, I would suggest that was simply talking about R2's projector lens lighting up and not actually projecting a hologram. As cool as some of the tech is getting in pinball, I just don't think we're there yet.

I envision it as R2's dome with his various lights that illuminate. Maybe it will make some R2 sounds. An even longer shot should be the dome rotates as R2 would.

I have .91 and it's been flawless so far. I'm really enjoying the video mode as well as the light saber dual (especially the lighting and effects).

Quoted from Colsond3:

Haven't chimed in here in a while, but it felt like a good place to ask. I actually found some of my figures in the back of the closet while cleaning, but I can't find this one on the Jedi Biz website. Anybody know which character it is?

4-LOM the bounty hunter who was actually played by Andy Richter, oddly enough.

#7417 6 years ago
Quoted from Colsond3:

Oh, now I see him on the site. Andy Richter? Really? That's too funny. Good looking out. I actually can't believe how good condition these are in considering I actually played with them. I've often debated selling them, but always talk myself out of it.

Yup, super weird knowing how old ESB is and how young he must have been. I remember my mom used to horde SW figures and kept them all in boxes hidden in her closet. Of course I would go in there and open them and play with them. Of all the crap my mom has horded over the years (beanie babies and other "limited edition" crap they made 1,000,000 of), that one she got right. Too bad I was such a bad kid lol.
