It's a real shame that Stern has gotten away from that. Star Trek, GOT & KISS all look great with it. They really missed the boat with Ghostbusters, would've been cool to see the lights all go green when you're slimed or all pink for the river of slime.
Looks like just a handful of color changing inserts on Star Wars. Sucks, I know, especially if you have a GoT, KISS, WoZ, Hobbit, etc. I can't imagine it affects the BoM that much, so I have no idea why Stern regressed.

Its like the safe on sopranos. It doesn't close properly and looks crap but you dont really notice after a while and much prefer the mechanism of it opening and closing

Gary would have said to him that "folks didn't have seen something special, awesome, that we would love".
i know this is true but i don't know what means "awesome" for Gary.

While enjoying my 3 AM piss last night, I finally realized what was bothering me: All the fun stuff is on the left side (Millennium Falcon, Death Star). The right side looks like Alderaan after the "unfortunate incident"--there ain't much to see. It creates an imbalance in the force. Quick!...somebody get an X-wing on that wireform or something!

Probably why the "release day" was scheduled June 6.
Problem is, unless the official Stern video assets are awesome (usually there's none), we're stuck with cell phone camera footage from a show once again as our first look at a new game.

Having played Aerosmith a bunch on the weekend, I am extremely impressed with Stern right now. Fingers crossed that Star Wars will feel just as good, or even better.
