If your fork ramp releases the ball down the middle there is no way it is level. Check for level high and low on the playfield.

The ramp is such a PITA - i have similar issues, when the ball releases its almost always a slap save from going SDTM.
If your forks are somewhat bent then this will contribute to the issue.

I just developed an issue on my LE I am hoping someone has some insight or can give direction.
I just installed a set of Flipper Fidelity speakers (which sound AMAZING by the way!), never had this issue in the past and don't know how it could possibly effect this but I am sure stranger things have happened.

I am getting balls stuck behind the ramp fork. It normally lowers itself when a ball ends up on the backside. I believe there is an optical sensor back there somewhere. It does not happen every time though, just occasionally. When when it gets stuck and the ball search activates, the ramp does not lower itself, you would certainly think it would lower the ramp when searching for a stuck ball. The only way I have found to get the ball unstuck is to drop the glass.

I noticed there is a plunger post at the top of the circle, above the fork ramp but I don't think I have ever seen the post up or working. Is the post supposed to be up when the fork is up to prevent balls from pounding the back side of the fork ramp.

I installed the latest 1.00 code and thought that might be the answer but it is not, working the same.

TIA for any help.

Quoted from Rarehero:

-GB's gap is wider than any lightning gap or previous Trudeau gap. Trusted sources have told me it was a MISTAKE but too late to change.

The gap was not a Mistake

Flipper Gap Myth Solved as a few years ago, as I had a quick discussion with Trudeau which started when we discussed the Snackbar mod I did for his designed game CFTBL

- The Flipper gap is a result of the flipper post placement & the angle of the flippers
- Stern's standard flipper post placement is 7" hole centres
- Trudeau's stanard signature flipper post placement is 7 1/8" hole centres on all games
- GB has the same flipper post placement is 7 1/8" hole centres
- what makes the flipper gap larger is how the flippers were angled lower than the inlane guides angle

2 Solutions
- lift the flippers so the front face / rubber are inline with the inlane feed rails which brings the game's flipper similar to all his other games
- add carrots or even my quick swap out flippers which both are 1/8" longer which then narrows up the gap to narrower than a standard Stern

I recommend the 1st option and it only makes you a better player, hope that helps

Quoted from pinchamp:

Yeah can you imagine idiots paying years in advance for a product not even made yet? Glad our collecting/hobby isn't like that... wait... oh really? ... uhm nevermind...

just curious if anyone else in the forum had dealings with them. cue the idiot

although the did deliver with darth vader. just not the storm trooper. still waiting on a refund that'll probably never happen :/
