Premium/LE playfield looks cool but the art is not what I was expecting, little disappointing.
But with SR and his most recent Sterns its all about how they play!
Death Star physical ball lock that blows up (cracks open), releases the balls and starts destroy the Death Star multiball?
I do like the metal ramps on the premium, the splitting Death Star I would need to see in action. It looks like the are going with them based on the films as far as Pro, Premium and LE. Empire all the way. I wonder if the LE will have a Death Star 2 model.
This game looks very cheap.
And ugly art.
again a cashgrab from stern... compare this game with DI !!!

DI is a huge flop.
Meh, looks like every other playfield. Time to start making machines based off the design of Pinball Circus.
Chris Franchi said 2 weeks ago to temper your enthusiasm on the art.
Disney/Lucasfilm insists on using their existing library of artwork. So nothing hand drawn.
Quoted from Sinestro:DI is a huge flop.
Don't let a companies sales figures ruin your chance to enjoy a game. That's just silly.
The fact that it looks like a Sega / DE pin is awesome IMHO. The tie fighter and death star toys are a nice touch. and I am glad they are basing it off the original films.

I don't. It looks terrible on top of being a flop.
Quoted from huo:I overlooked the bottom arching ramp. Maybe the ball rolls around as speculated like Getaway.
The video shows a short clip of this.
Quoted from jeffpm:God, why can't Ritchie get a decent art package?
I suspect in the case of SW, ST, and GOT, rights holders wanted Stern to use art from their approved asset catalog.
Myself, I think the art is alright. It's right along the lines of what I was expecting.
I dunno I think the art looks good. Way better than Stern Star Trek but not nearly as good as Ghostbusters. I'm sure it will be a killer pin.
Art is meh, but the inserts are "out of proportion" big. Cut their size by 1/3 and the pin would look better.
