I was told that TRON Pro went up $600 as of April 1. That's too high of a jump, I'll look in the used market now.

Yikes! Was that from one of the handful of distributors on Pinside?

If you snagged a NIB Tron for less than $5K, you got a great deal.
When the TRON PROs were originally released you could snag them for less than 4K. Not complaining at all, but it certainly jumped in price in the last 18 months. The LE has SOARED!

Quoted from RobT:I have to say, I'm really glad to be at a point in this hobby and my collection where I have pretty much everything that I want
lol - I can't wait to see what your collection looks like in a year haha. Does your wife roll her eyes like mine when you tell her this too?
Quoted from scottc:I have seen MM on the block for 10.5 for periods of time
where!? this time last week I would have bought it
Quoted from hb1981:sometimes it seems pinball is becoming more and more for richer people only. I cannot afford to buy a couple of new games a year and keep older ones next to it. I also have hobby's like eating and having a roof above my head
no one said you have to buy nib. plenty of affordable pins out there for any persons budget.

Why yes. Yes she does!
Quoted from maddog14:no one said you have to buy nib. plenty of affordable pins out there for any persons budget.
Exactly. Its just like cars and various car models. I don't buy a new car every year as I couldn't afford, nor want, to. I just purchased a NIB ACDC Premium and that will likely be my last NIB game for a few years.
I don't care what the price increase is because damn it I deserve these games! I'm special and entitled that's why I drive a lifted hummer just so everyone knows what a rich jack hole I am and I deserve non necessary items in life!
Speaking of a-holes that drive Hummers. This is one of my favorite pics. I took it at the hospital in the parking ramp when we had our first child.

Too be fair, an H3 IS compact.
Quoted from VegasAlleycat:Yikes! Was that from one of the handful of distributors on Pinside?
Yup - the one that sells the most games.
Quoted from maddog14:no one said you have to buy nib. plenty of affordable pins out there for any persons budget.
the good pins are keep getting more expensive. the top 20 pins are just as expensive as NIB pins or more expensive in some cases. The other pins i get bored with easily. I want pins with deep rules Like LOTR, TZ etc. Not old boring pins lol
Any chance that the Pros will have the color changing LEDs? I think from a programming perspective, it'd be easier not to have to do different lighting for each model. And I'd definitely pay a few hundred more for a Pro if it had that.
Quoted from Mudflaps:If you snagged a NIB Tron for less than $5K, you got a great deal.
Not in my opinion. Not at all. There are a ton of games that I think are more fun, at less than half this price. Far better deals, even though they're not NIB.
