It wouldn't be so bad to reuse an old painting if they hadn't put the cat statue in, but it's so clearly floating there that it wrecks the rest of it for me at least. Why even do that? Her pose was fine without it.

Because in the original episode the cat figurine was in Catwoman was stealing it. Get it? She is stealing the rare and priceless cat statue and being chased by Batman and Robin on the new translite.
