The video shows them as old, yellowed 70s caps, so I don't think Stern was too worried.
Once the pop bodies are installed on a CNCed playfield, they will all align.

No one knows yet what versions are being used.
The Re-recordings have A LOT more punch, and it would be pretty hard to tell the difference on pinball machine speakers. Listen to the whole album here:
