Quoted from RobKnapp:

I like the song selection for the most part . However KISS pinball needs one of the best KISS songs that is not added KISS : Charisma . How did it get left out ? » YouTube video

I actually love that song and album, but I can't blame them for leaving it out. Dynasty is not exactly a big fan fave. I do hope that they used live versions of some or all of the tracks they did choose, though, since they're much more lively than the album versions. Also, where the hell is Strutter? One of the biggest classics and a way more lively song than most of the ones they picked. Certainly better than Hotter Than Hell! I'm surprised they left off I Was Made For Loving You, too, even if it is "disco." It's a pretty bit hit and a live staple.

It just occurred to me that the current version of the band re-recorded a bunch of their classic songs several years ago and put it out as a bonus disc with their "Sonic Boom" album. I double-checked and sure enough, every song from the game is also on that disc. I'd be willing to bet that we'll be getting the re-recorded versions, and that that's why they didn't use a few specific choice classics like "Strutter" that weren't on the disc. On the positive side, the newer versions sound much better than the limp original album tracks and will all match each other sonically, so that's something.

Quoted from Nuclear_Waste:

The songs used on this machine are all from the re-recorded-without-Ace-and-Peter-so-we-don't-have-to-pay-them-for-their-performance "KISS Klassics" CD that came with Sonic Boom. I assume these are the song versions that will be used on this machine.
That's why we, unfortunately, won't see "100,000 Years, Firehouse, Cold Gin and Parasite", or any of the other non-KISS Klassics tunes.

I posted this a few pages back, too. I'm pretty sure that's the case. Although it does leave the door open for I Was Made For Loving You and a couple of others.

I think it's a real stretch that the perspective issues are intentional as a "throwback."

Quoted from paulywalnuts23:

The way the Ace wears his strap, under his shoulder costume pieces, and the type of strap that it is, plain black, I don't think you would really see much of it in that crouching pose he is in.

Can't see it? Plain black??? Ace's incredibly iconic lightning bolt strap is pretty clearly visible in that photo.
