Looks promising. Can't wait to see it come together fully.
Looks neat, but 100% not for me. Excited for those who get in on it!
I'm more surprised at the way this was announced.
Looks and sounds prety badass. I'm not a fan of the Kiss personalities, but whatever, I'm excited for the game.
When your balls go into the Gene Simmons mouth, you have to pay an extra $1.00 to get them back out.
Not into Kiss at all, but looks like they're doing a good job with this one!
Quoted from mummite:Looks to have a bit of IJ4 layout. Could be cool, love the hand drawn art
I kind of though that too with the IJ4 map room!
Overall I'm getting excited about this machine which i originally was very unenthused about!!!!!
Quoted from ectobar:Stern just announced that it will also be fully coded and functional...
by 2017
Yea maybe, but at least they actually build machines. Maybe they should be like JJP, 5 months late and counting. Stern announces and delivers a game in less time than JJP is late on one they announced almost two years ago.

Good point. Who designed IJ4?

Yeah, not even a finished playfield with art. Still whitewood... Are they jumping the love gun?
Rob
What does that mean for the TWD code?
Will STERN being focused now on KISS only?
What about the latest quality issues with their decals?
What about unfinished codes?
Will STERN announce only LE and Pro ..... and later the Premium?
I assume many who mentioned "never ever a NIB Stern" won't remrmber their own words now
Quoted from 85vett:Looks cool but here's the big question. Who's doing the code?
If it's the same guy who did ST (Lonnie?) then there is absolutely no way I would buy it right off the bat. His coding on ST was a mess.
Rob
Quoted from the_one:Will STERN announce only LE and Pro ..... and later the Premium?
They have already announced pro, premium and LE models...
Looks like fun. The best news? No more threads speculating about a KISS pin!
Stern knows how to cater to their core market, should be a good seller if the vociferous fanbase now speaks with their wallets.
Quoted from the_one:Will STERN announce only LE and Pro ..... and later the Premium?
Plan on this. If you're buying an LE thinking that's the only way your going to get a full featured playfield, you're going to be upset later on when the premium is announced. Use history as your guide.
EDIT - looks like they are going premium upfront on this one. That's the best method IMO.
Still has DMD. That was to be expected. I still say Ritchie's game will have the first "Stern" LCD in the backbox.
Ritchie has been severely out of rotation since Star Trek. Two Borg and two Trudeau games have come out since then. He's cooking up something big. Creating HD assets takes a lot longer than dots.

Premium available day 1.

Premium has ALREADY been announced. Doesn't anybody even watch the damn video??

They already announced a Premium for KISS.
Lots of people pooped on metallica when they announced it
Lars this the band song bla bla bla
I think this one is going to be a beauty, dies
Not look like any photoshop there.
Do they say who's on Art and who's on coding ?
Quoted from sd_tom:But gene never shoots balls out of his mouth.. Surprised this was allowed
The balls should be blood red
Quoted from MinusWorlds:Premium has ALREADY been announced. Doesn't anybody even watch the damn video??
Nope! At work.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:He's cooking up something big
How about an unlicensed pin? Though I think I recall Gary saying he preferred doing licensed themes?
Quoted from Rob_G:If it's the same guy who did ST (Lonnie?) then there is absolutely no way I would buy it right off the bat. His coding on ST was a mess.

To be fair, nearly all Stern games have had crap for launch code. I'm hoping it gets Lyman or Waison (believe he did mustang). I like how he took a rather bland PF and made a good risk vs reward machine with some really good code integration.
cool

I wonder if this will make the 1978 version drop in price? I know it's mostly KISS fans that bought the old pin. Now they will have a new one to buy instead.
Quoted from Goronic:How about an unlicensed pin? Though I think I recall Gary saying he preferred doing licensed themes?
Game of Thrones is the rumor.

GOT has to be LCD.
Quoted from Goronic:How about an unlicensed pin? Though I think I recall Gary saying he preferred doing licensed themes?
Stern is all about the safe bets. Though I think they are off by about 20+ years on the "hip" factor based on the last 2 games...
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Game of Thrones is the rumor.
Which is also a licensed theme...
Quoted from MinusWorlds:Though I think they are off by about 20+ years on the "hip" factor based on the last 2 games...
I think they are catering to their core buying base, the over 40 crowd.
Quoted from MinusWorlds:Which is also a licensed theme...
Yes. Didn't say it wasn't.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:I think they are catering to their core buying base, the over 40 crowd.
KISS, try over 60 (ducks)
Quoted from Rob_G:Yeah, not even a finished playfield with art. Still whitewood... Are they jumping the love gun?
Rob
I feel like it's more that the announcement was so sketchy. I guess IGN reaches a LOT more people than Stern's site, their Facebook, or Twitter. Just SO unofficial feeling, haha.
Quoted from MinusWorlds:KISS, try over 60 (ducks)
LOL...well I'm over 40 (barely) and used to listen to them when I was a kid. Not too much in the past 30 years.
Quoted from rai:I'm actually interested in this pin. Not a fan of Kiss but I love theatrical glam rock.
I'm thinking the exact same thing. If this game rocks, I'm selling my stocks.
So, are Ace and Peter going to be represented? I surely hope so, but wouldn't count on it. Looks pretty cool so far though.

Whats the graphic on the cabinet?

Honestly it's not for me. I'm barely over 40 as well. I am happy for those of you that wanted this pin tho. Not looking to piss in anyone's cheerios. Enjoy your KISS to those who are excited.
