Looks real to me! Thanks for the link - very interesting.

While KISS is no dream theme for me, I think this could be a seller for all those non-pinheads who collect KISS merchandise. Plus, Stern keeping their new machine a bit retro is kinda cool.

#3 8 years ago

Good luck with that!

#4 8 years ago

It's also on stern Facebook page

Giving it up for hand drawn art.

Awesome. Looks like this will be lots of fun. Love the Gene Simmons head.

#7 8 years ago

Just seen this on IGNs website. Yeah.....it's KISS. Music based pins are Sterns go-to of late.

#8 8 years ago

Hand drawn art....nice

#9 8 years ago

WOW...looks pretty nice. Hand drawn art too

#10 8 years ago

super quick shots of the playfield in the video. the magnetic ball on the backboard was interesting. did I see that right?

#11 8 years ago

Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Looks pretty cool actually.

Yeah! I may be in on this one.

#14 8 years ago

Looks awesome! Stern has been on a roll with great Rock-based pins since AC/DC!

The flying pinball/Paul Stanley has me intigued as well!

Also, interesting that Stern is pre-announcing the Premium model again.

#15 8 years ago

LoOks amazing ! Especially the floating ball !

#16 8 years ago

Sweet!

#17 8 years ago

Looks cool. Not a fan of their music though. Hopefully if I get to play one, it will be in a crowded area where you can barely hear.

Looks pretty solid so far! Very cool that they got Kevin O'Connor to do the art again. Nice song list too. I'm neutral on Kiss - but these are all songs you hear by accident and enjoy. I'd play pinball to them!

#20 8 years ago

Very interesting...would look great next to my METLE

#21 8 years ago

Check out that side cabinet art. What is that from????

#22 8 years ago

Looks to have a bit of IJ4 layout. Could be cool, love the hand drawn art

WWE Wrestlemania I believe.

Who's the designer?

Here's a pic of the ball going across the backboard...

I like the Paul Stanley "Ball" moving across the back.

Game looks like fun.

the ball across the backboard is le/premium. How long untill someone gets a gene head and repaints it without makeup and green dollar signs for his eyes?

#29 8 years ago

well, atleast I can keep saving my money looks like it could be a nice machine, just not into the theme in the least bit

#30 8 years ago

Two playfield holes...might we actually see the return of a subway (PLEASE!!!)

Like the unique looking layout of the game.

Guessing this isn't a SR design?

#32 8 years ago

If Kevin was allowed to do the art, hope they gave him a bit of artistic freedome, although the pf sketch looks promising. Set list is expected, nothing really stands out as unique.

#33 8 years ago

Looks interesting, doubt I buy one, but still looks interesting. Looking forward to seeing more pics.

#34 8 years ago

looks fun and that floating ball is cool

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

#36 8 years ago

It's going to be a big game for them.

#37 8 years ago

But gene never shoots balls out of his mouth.. Surprised this was allowed

Looks cool. Not a fan of their music though.

That's what I said about MET, and I just sucked it up.

#39 8 years ago

Who's going to come out with the first "tongue protector" product?

I'm thinking the same. Whether or not we (Pinsiders) are stoked for this title as a majority, I think that the overseas market will snap this up at a fairly quick pace. Not to mention stateside Barcades, KISS fans / followers, and the Pinsiders that appreciate KISS since the 70's.

#41 8 years ago

Pro version will have 4 songs. LOL

#42 8 years ago

Look cool as f**k!

#43 8 years ago

Ugh. Why do they have to put Gene's big fat head on the damn PF?

#44 8 years ago
Quoted from tamoore:

Yep, agree I think this will be a big seller

Stern just announced that it will also be fully coded and functional...

by 2017

#46 8 years ago

Wasn't this announced like a year ago?

I'm looking forward to playing it!

#47 8 years ago

I wasn't sure I'd be psyched.

But I'm officially psyched!

Loving the hand-drawn art! Can't wait to see the feature list and full art packages for the various models.

I warned my wife I might put off buying anything else in case KISS looked good. Obviously have to play to confirm the purchase...but it's looking good!

Usually Gene's shooting his balls into someone's mouth.

Did you mean 2117 or 2017? Just making sure this isn't a typo.
