It's not as simple as the wages themselves. It's the health insurance costs. The liability insurance. The property taxes. The corporate earnings taxes. The risk management aspect of paying out settlements to protected classes of employees of frivolous lawsuits. It's workers compensation insurance. It's way more complicated than $25/hour to $8/hour comparisons.
