Haven’t played either due to covid. Either one a clear winner?

I’ve played both quite a bit and for me personally it’s Avengers IQ by a large margin.

I had a few games on each pro in a store. I call it a first impression at best.
Avengers looks like it has more to offer. When I played them, I enjoyed Turtles more.
Go figure. That’s the fun of pinball.

I would say turtles. Only played pro on both. Code still a long way to go on avengers. Seems like avengers is deeper, look at strategy guide on stern website.

You have lots of different ways to view that question. I’d like your opinion on it from all angles. The coin box, the actual enjoyment, the tournament viability/favorability, score balance, and probably others.

Avengers all the way.

#8 3 years ago

I enjoy turtles more but i haven’t played avengers premium only pro

The fact that Turtles can even hang with AIQ in a poll says good things about Turtles.

Just bought a turtles pro with some nice upgrades. We are loving it. I also got to play an AIQ pro.. great game as well. I think the pro turtles at a used price point is outstanding, and although the pro AIQ was sweet, I have my mind set on the AIQ premium. You really can't go wrong with either. I did feel that the shots on AIQ to me were easier than turtles.. but I like the challenge. People complain about the drains on TMNT but I haven't felt that its unfair. I know there's a ton of hype on GnR but stern has put out some great games.

TMNT needs an extra zero or two on the score. Shouldn't matter. Does.

So far response to both games has been positive, however both suffer from missing code and require polishing. Until then and after more people play both pins, one or both might become a gem. For now, “the picture is cloudy”.
