Quoted from cards25:

I believe after you make one shot in each mode, Crank It Up is lit at the scoop. Shoot that and you get more time and all shots in the modes are worth more points. Also you should make sure you have a mode running when starting multiball.

I'm looking for advice on strategy too. I love my AS Pro, but find some modes like Sweet Emotion, damn near impossible. There's like 15 shots to hit. Even with a scoop shot to activate crank it up (which isn't a gimme either) it's only 30 more seconds one time during the mode.

After my times up I think it resets and its rinse and repeat, so like 1 minute to hit 15 shots? Maybe I'm missing something because I thought, on occasion, after a mode ended I could restart and maintain progress.

Still under a week of ownership, but I find it difficult. The shots seem easy enough but not to repeat....15 times.

Any hints on strategy to score big points.

I'm curious
For those of you who sold a game to open up room/funds for Aerosmith... what did you sell?

I still have a problem with modes currently. Not so much a problem, but specific strategy. The modes seem very lopsided, in terms of being able to complete anyway. Some modes are a gimme, others very difficult.

Are there benefits to completing modes regardless of points scored? IE Rats in the Cellar - Hit one shot and that mode is complete when you time out or lose a ball. The large Rats insert at the start of the right orbit seems to remain on afterward. Same with Walk this Way, once complete the ramps have "Walk" illuminated. Last child the blue inserts in orbits seem to be illuminated often after completing.

Is it beneficial to complete the easy modes early? other then the obvious like building towards 6 ball multi for the more difficult modes.

Does each completed mode activate a feature that assists with others progressing through modes. (Beat Rats in Cellar, turn on Rats insert)

I really like the coins, but not sure how they fit into current code.

What do the numbers and music sheets on the left side of the display represent?

Every shot in this game is tough to hit consistently for me except the toy chest and center ramp. The left outlane is particularly unkind to me. I have my GC, but not sure I'm even close to 15 combos yet (coins?)

I know this is going to come across as being a crybaby, but I find my AS pro to be infuriating. I don't think I have ever owned a game that gets me as irritated.

I like AS a lot, and prefer fast difficult games. Not really sure why this one in particular gets to me?

I have a very hard time comboing anything with any consistency.
