Can anyone speak about the build quality.I have heard about some cabinet splitting issues. Would appreciate some info about anything that has been a problem. We are considering buying one but have heard there are some QC concerns with the newer sterns. I'm not a stern basher at all just want to make as informed a decision as possible. Cheers.

Quoted from Who-Dey:

There were a few reported cabinet issues that have been reported but not enough to warrant any real concern IMO. I hear that Stern is also putting support brackets in their cabinets now so that should definitely solve any issues. My AS hasn’t and any problems at all and neither have any of my other three Stern games. AS is a great game and I fully recommend getting one if you want one, it’s great fun. My AS Pro will never leave my collection ever.

Thanks for the beta , appreciate the real feedback...

Quoted from Who-Dey:

There have been a few problems with the cabinets like I said but it’s nothing widespread. There are problems occasionally with any product. Also if you aren’t rough on your stuff I am sure it will be just fine. I nudge and sometimes if I have a good game going I will even get pretty rough with the game in order to save the ball, but I’m not rough with it all the time like a game would see in an arcade environment. Some people could f*ck up a steel ball, so you gotta take that into account also......just sayin.

I completely hear what you're saying. we're not rough on stuff and anything new can have glitches for sure.I was going to play one on route but it was removed the day before so only have played it a few times.
