Something I noticed missing from the strategy guide is how Crank it up impact the mode in more ways than just increasing scoring and adding time. It can also turn a mode into a do or die with no chance to repeat or it can add available targets or remove targets. It all depends on the mode.

For example with Walk this way, Crank it up will remove the orbits and make the mode do or die where if you drain before collecting, even with plenty of time on the clock, it will mark the mode as complete but not award your bonus scoring.

Crank it up is such a great feature!

Quoted from seiman:

Thx, but am actualy not talking about this area, i mean the place where the ball rests before launching....I will take a pic of my AS later, if iam at home.

I know what your talking about. Starting to see some signs of wear starting there myself. My worry is whether wear there would ever impact the ball launch.

I'll be applying a little mylar around those edges for now but this is the area I'd like to see a cliffy for.

Thank you that is what I was looking for. If the upper playfield is fun or does it add a something speacil to the game. Not worried about value so much. Also the mirrored backglass if it looks good in person. Do not want to say wish I did this or that?

I don't think you would regret any route. We love our Pro and haven't regretted it for an instant. Same goes for those with Prem/LE. There really isn't a wrong way to go with this game.

Quoted from cooked71:

I've got 5 balls in the toy box, I'll start Elevator multiball instead and get a "cheat" 5 ball Elevator before empty the toy box.

Love this! Another great component is if you have a multiplayer game and the prior player leaves 5 in the box you can take their balls with a standard 3 lock (for lower jackpots of course).

I kind of wish it was a full on steal though... ie: Player 1 leaves 5 in and drains then Player 2 can steal the full 5 ball mb (player 1 would be reverted back to 3)... would make leaving balls in the lock an even bigger risk. That could be fun plus pits players against each other more.

I too have had the reset happen and one time a hard freeze.

The song mismatch bug is kind of freaky looking too since the game gets confused about what video it is supposed to be playing and will typically be just a black screen with some random overlays.

Nothing frequent enough to really bother me and the song one can be avoided.

Quoted from Who-Dey:

My game does not reset and my LCD screen doesn’t go black either. You may want to call Stern about those two issues because I don’t think that is normal.

LCD will go black if you change the song after launching and before the ball hits any switches. The game is confused about what mode you are in. It’s kind of a big bug.

Quoted from pinden007:

I forgot to mention is has the door lock security bar which is probably drilled into the front door. I assume it's drilled in but I'll have to take another look. Is there any other method?

Par for a routed game. Take the bar off but leave the bolts in and it should look fine. You might see if he will allow you to inspect with bar off to ensure decals are still ok underneath the mounting points.
