I always wanted a Monsters of Rock pin as well with a jukebox that you could have two songs by each band. The game could be like a Brutal Legend game which is an original concept. Too bad we know this will never happen. Anyway with Aerosmith not touring and doing his solo work hard to believe it will be made or get much interest, still hope it's a hit. But we know Maiden will be in 2017 and be a big success. http://www.pinball-magazine.com/?page_id=34
Steve Tyler announced Aerosmith farewell tour on howard stern show per blabermouth.net today. Starts in 2017 but no end date go figure.
Quoted from Rockytop:Joe Perry clarified things a bit after Stevens comments saying they had talked about that for 5 years but nothing has been decided and they might go into the studio and record more as well. A farewell tour would certainly qualify as a big event to release a pin with.
That was the first time he said it, this is now the second time it come up. As long as it's a hit. I still think it's Motley Crue followed by Iron Maiden next year.
One band that deserves a pin and not on the list (as will not have most sales) is Motorhead. I wish for someone to make one day or NHL pin done right. I know Lemmy always wnated one made from last interviews. At least we got one song in the Mustang pin.
Quoted from pinmister:Well hopefully Stern will stop drinking the Kool-Aid with thinking that an LCD screen is special and deserves to have a premium added to their advertised map pricing. I am concerned after the pricing was released for Batman 66. If you think about it a LCD should actually cost less than a DMD. I am happy that they chose a 15" LCD instead of getting rid of backglass art like JJP. I cant stand the size of the LCD on JJP games. Hopefully Stern does not try and gouge potential buyers because they installed a $25 Chinese made LCD.
But the price of JJP LCD and everything else we get in a game by them is justified unlike Sterns from what we know so far in a pinball game to have smaller LCD.
Quoted from pinmister:Sorry I wish I liked JJP games but they do nothing for me.
I call WOZ "The Rainbow Show With No Flow" layout is clunky, lightshow is great
and I call the Hobbit "Modern EM on Steroids" with all the drop targets-boring
I like Stern, Data East, and Bally/Williams. Hopefully JJP pulls something out of his hat that will change my tune.
Yes agree just can't help what you get in a JJP game but wish it had more flow like some of recent Stern games. They will hit the home run evetually I hope.
