    I don't know who this "we" is that you refer, but I don't have any interest in a super heavy machine. It's harder to move. The games only need to be heavy enough to not fall apart. A 200 pound stern is fine. It doesn't need to be 300 pounds. There's no inherent link between weight and quality. This isn't the high end stereo amplifier world.
