The sounds in a Lost world are not the best in my opinion so the owner probably put chimes in and removed the sound board or something.

But there's no support in the software for chimes. Does look like the chime box has been added by the extra small harness back left.

Judging by the fact the left playfield rest rail in the cabinet has been cut, it might be safe to presume someone modified this cabinet so they could swap in a Bally-17 chime based game playfield that has a drop target bank on the left which might otherwise hit the rail (i.e. Freedom, Night Rider or Evel Knievel).

My bad i was thinking lost world came out before power play.
So yes maybe a prototype.
