    Some of us dont bother, esp on a Gottlieb. If you have a new pf this allows you to add sockets and braid even before you start to strip the old. Althou I just stripped a Ks&Qs pf to send off to Keith Holbrook (its so nice having a couple of restores locally) and I took 8 pics primarily of the braid routing...
