I have just made an adaptation with Pinball Browser V6 (thanks to oga83 for this work ) on the version 0.89 PRO by trying to stay in the closest to sequences. Every music corresponds to every scene of movies for every mission with a few exceptions (no music during the scene of spider bikes on Endor in the movie for example).

#XX => Request to be modified
Death Star I => Mission / Wiz
Episode XX => Album
Inner City => Title
00:00 => Set star position
(150%) => Volume

#42 Hoth II (Leia vs stormtrooper cloud city) : Episode V Departure of Boba Fett 00:50 (150%)
#43 Hoth III (Reaper hyperdrive) : Episode V Hyperspace 00:18 (150%)

#48 Endor II (Luke vs Vador) : Episode VI 09 - The Emperor 00:23 (180%)
#49 Endor III (Bomb Base) : Episode VI The Forest Battle 01:23 (150%)
#50 Endor Battle above Endor (Space Endor Battle) : VI Into the Trap 00:25 (150%)

#51 Tatooine I (Droide): Episode IV Imperial Attack 00:02 (150%)
#52 Tatooine II (MF) : Episode IV Mouse Robot and Blasting Off 02:01 (150%)
#53 Tatooine III (Rancor) : "Rancor" owm sample from movie

So you made a new soundtrack file? Im sorta confused what exactly you got going on here.

#3 6 years ago

Pinsound works with Spike? Huh. Are you sharing a custom code? Seems pretty early since it's not even to 1.0 yet. Please tell us more!

Download Pinball Browser V6

Open Pinball Browser and load star_wars_pro-0_89_0.spk.002.000 file. Of course you need all listed soundtracks on your disk before
In Sound tab you'll find all pinball sounds.
Select sound request you want to replace (#28 for exemple) => Import => Select the *.mp3 file.

Replace it and save.

Someone make this for the LE!

#9 6 years ago

OMG this is SO EXCITING! Had no idea pinball browser works with Spike. This is going to be such a huge win when the code matures. Thanks so much for sharing.

I will for LE / Prem soon but i think it's nearly the same...

#13 6 years ago

Great stuff! can't wait for this on the Prem/LE

Thanks for putting it all together

#14 6 years ago

Watching this one closely. More John Williams is exactly what this pin needs. Any chance you can post more videos showing which tracks you've implemented and where?

Pinball browser is amazing. I've used it when I had IMVE and POTC. However I will never be purchasing another Stern pin.

Sad that you are doing what Stern should have done in the first place. And also that you did it in 1/16 the time.
I though they paid people to do this stuff?

F@#$ Stern.

Tie Fighter Hurry UP

#19 6 years ago

I see you got the infamous Hoth shot reject. Sounds like that's a new "feature" with 0.89 code. Really hoping they can fix that.

#20 6 years ago

How well do the tracks loop if they play for a long time?

Yup

Endor II Mission

#23 6 years ago

Very cool. Hope this works for LE/Prem too. I wonder if Stern was limited by licensing costs, and couldn't use that much of the musical score?

#24 6 years ago

Another long one...

#25 6 years ago

Awesome! I also had no idea Pinball Browser was working on Spike. Very cool.

#26 6 years ago

This is looking really good! Can't wait to see what other progress you make!

#27 6 years ago

When they add the light saber battle mode or whatever it's going to be called " duel of fates" music needs to be added, I know it's not part of the trilogy but great music.

To each his own (that's the beauty of Pinball Browser) but why would you add non-trilogy music when there's so much good stuff in the original scores? Might as well toss in "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" and "Flight of the Valkyries" while you're at it!

EDIT: whoa, just checked that out on YouTube, intense stuff but the male voice choir seems out of place in SW (perhaps yet another reason the prequels and I never got along).

#29 6 years ago

Looks solid. I can't wait to dig into customizing the soundtrack.

I'm a little new to Star Wars pinball and am also having a case of Hoth shot reject, I loaded .89 from the start. Did the single post come up to trap the ball properly in .87? I have my game fairly slow for Star Wars and the bounce is significant. It would make sense that the single post would trap the ball when the opto next to the fork is crossed.

Any update/word on the Premium/LE version coming soon? Excited to try this!

#34 6 years ago

@Celofane, I imported a few of the sound files and the data file size grew above 4GB. This made it too large to copy onto a FAT32 formatted USB stick, and the pin didn't recognize the datafile when I tried reformatting the stick to NTFS or exFAT. How did you work around this? Thanks!

#35 6 years ago

Figured it out. Have to choose "Pack firmware for USB stick" from the drop-down menu to bring the file size below 4GB.

#36 6 years ago

Very nice work Celofane.

#37 6 years ago

Anyone have luck updating the sounds on .93? I was able to get pinball browser to work fine with .89, but with the 3 part file structure that is used in .93 I am having trouble getting it to work on my game. Each time the install fails and then I have to restore the SD card using a past image that I took from the original SD card.
