Which do you think would preform better in a bar type location and why?

#2 4 years ago

I'd probably say neither. A more recent game would perform better. Perhaps cost is the issue and you want something 2k or less for the bar?

I agree with this if you want to stay around the 2k range maybe South Park or something like that.

I'd rather play the Space Station or consider Space Shuttle too. Both great machines.

I actually like both of those machines. For a bar location Starship Troopers might do better because of theme. It has the novelty of the 3rd flipper and the brain bug which might grab people's attention.

That being said I really enjoy Space Station every time I play it. Might be less maintenance intensive than Starship Troopers.

Demo Man might be good, novelty with the gun handles. Something from Data East might also fit the bill as well (LW3 or LAH).

Was just thinking Space Shuttle myself. Great timeless theme, right price, and easy to maintain. Another great inexpensive pin that always seems to do great with the casuals, is Super Mario Brothers. Most operators seem to love this game.
