Dear Lloyd,
Hello, I just recently purchased a Starship Troopers Pin. There are two issues I'm having trouble resolving.
1.) When I start up the machine, it always asks me to open the door before it starts up.
2.) The memory clears every time I turn off the power. I checked the batteries in the battery pack today and they were at full charge. The game plays normally with all switches and the DMD working perfectly. It just doesn't remember scores and settings.
Thoughts?

Battery power is most likely not getting to the board.
Bad battery, bad battery holder. something isn't up to snuff.
Get your meter and start checking where it has power and where it doesn't.
