Any idea what a Star Gazer would fetch nowadays, with one of John's PFs with it?

Quoted from dothedoo:

I would guess $3K+, depending on condition.

If I offered it for sale at 3k, it would be gone in seconds.

Quoted from brenna98:

My guess is $4500 for a nicely done, full restoration.
North of that, I suspect buyers drop off when they weigh prices of new games.

I did some reserach and managed to obtain the last few prices that games exchanged hands for. We're all a bit low.

I may try and pedle mine as I need to raise some funds.

The last few have sold or traded in the 6k-7k range.

Did you paid her whole body (flesh colour) , or just touch up her leg? I can't see any contrast at all.

Quoted from Axaios:

The reason I am dealing with the playfield is because it's the only thing left to do wctually.
Here is my restoration thread

Spend the 1k to get a new pf. This game is a rare/high value title.

Quoted from sandro:

Fourth option: Find a local artist (view their portfolio). Give them the best high-resolution photos of what you're looking for, and ask them to restore the playfield. Have them start in a small area, and if the work looks good, have them do the whole job. Best case: playfield restored, money put into the local economy. Worst case, badly restored play is still badly restored.

That will cost more than getting a new pf.

Bite the bullet. Make it new once again.

Quoted from cottonm4:

For $500.00 he will wind up with something that looks like a warmed over dumpster fire. For $500.00 more he can gets nice looking Greatwich repo.

Plus the time it will take to find someone willing to do this.
