Working on a Stargate, Gottlieb system 3. No DMD. Here is a video on power up:

I believe it is the U8 GAL chip on dmd comtroller.

The +5 volts is good. It also has the version 4 on main controller.

also, with the cable from mpu to dmd disconected, the LED on mpu only flashed about 3 times. Compared to
when the cable from mpu to dmd is connected it flashes 8 times.

DMD led never flashes.

U8 GAL chip repaired problem.
