Quoted from pinballinreno:Non destructive ramp repair for now ( I believe this has been done before):
Find 1" x 1" angle clips at the hardware store.

Remove a little metal with a drill or dremel or saw:

Bend it past 90 degrees to about 110 degrees:

Remove 3 acorn nuts and the plastic.
Remove the rubber by rolling it up.
Loosen the middle star post a bit and slip the bracket under it.
[quoted image]
Push the bracket over untill the ramp side is where yiu want it.
Tighten the star post down, add back the plastic, rubber and acorn nuts.
Admire your work!

This plays perfectly and will hold up until my restoration, or I get the ramp welded and plated.
That...... Is a damn good fix! I might keep it in place even after a re-weld. Looks better than my current nerf ammo fix.
PXL_20211222_165937380 (resized).jpgIf you are referring to the LED ring mod from Cobra Amusements, he's not making them anymore. I contacted him about a month ago about getting one.
Quoted from WETHEREDS:I acquired a Stargate during this past summer. Played it as much as I could until the issues began to stop me playing where I had to switch it off and lift up the playfield. I was noting down the problems as they presented themselves. It became quite a long list.
The playfield has been stripped of all parts. The skill shot ramp #31166 is broken but was able to get a new one. Am looking for the decal that goes on the back of that ramp. Anyone know where I can get one?
I am also looking for the decals on the ramps - Kurt Russell & James Spader.
The playfield has had its first clean and the mylar looks cloudy. A second cleaning will be next. So is removing the mylar a good or bad thing to try to do? Has anyone done it with success with just a few paint touchups?
Thanks.
The James Spader decal is un-obtainium. I've not seen it for sale anywhere.
Quoted from tonyf1965:It is pinside market place. Stargate parts. Most games with alot of plays are worn there. It goes right in front of piramid.
Thanks for that! Ordered. If only he had decals for ALL the other places that get mucked up.....
