Hello all, I just picked up my Stargate a couple weeks ago from a pinside member and it's in great shape. Everything works great and I already went through and vacuumed/cleaned/waxed the playfield and inside the box (minus the wax).

I went through this entire thread over the last couple of days and there's a ton of great info, but I didn't see much about how to fix the playfield wear in smaller spots. I see that the typical wear spots everyone talks about on my machine too. I have damage to the ball drop spots and it's not too bad, so I want to fix it now if possible. I have searched to no avail on how to deal with those spots. Does anyone have a thread to point me towards on how to fix ball drop spots?

I imagine I would have to use some acrylic model paint to fill the low spots, then wax and put some mylar down...? Would there be prep involved beyond cleaning? Should I sand or anything before?

Just a couple pics of my new hot rod...

You can put me on the 3D printed Stargate list! Go figure, I just had my glass off yesterday. I will most likely be taking it off again tomorrow, I will pull the caliper out of the drawer and get the measurements you listed, unless someone beats me to it.

They look awesome! I really like the shooter lane Stargate, reminds me of the movie a bit more too.

Quoted from Charles_Kline:

I've got a regular that comes into the location I have some pins at to play Stargate almost every day. He made the comment that "the Horus bonus is not awarding the points" to the front desk guy.
My understanding is that hitting Horus ADVANCES the 'Horus Bonus' that you only get when you start Battle and hit both pivot up guard shots.
Am I right in that is the only Horus Bonus?
I reviewed the Scoring and Features from the manual (and actually gave him a copy of those three pages so he could read though it and understand the modes better)
Thanks!

You can also advance the Horus bonus by making the Horus shot in the beginning/ball launch skill shot. It awards you the 10 mil for the skill shot and advances the Horus to 20mil.

I fell like it might advance Horus if you make enough Horus shots in normal play as well, but I'm not 100% on that one.

Quoted from Zigzagzag:monkfe How is it going with the 3D-printed ramps? Mine is broken into smaller parts ... and is missing some parts as well.[quoted image]

Dang, looks like the pinballs were extra mad at that ramp!
