Does anybody have some good mod ideas for stargate? It probably doesn’t need any but I’d love to add some cool ones.

I need a Stargate grill speaker but yours really doesn't look like original ones...sorry but not interesting it.
So Mrossman5 some ad a printed topper like this one.

Or also ad led diode in Horus and Anubis eyes like you can see in the movie.
Or ad printed little Stargate to fix onto spaghetti ramps.
Some put movie figurines (up left on 3rd picture) you can find on EBay upper the transporter gate or sarcophagus (down right on 3rd picture).

The speaker grills , I use a vinyl decal template to make these. Since the image is so small on the original , I cannot make them exact due to the intricate details. SO, I designed these as a replacement as some are rusted and not replicated by anyone. I do however custom paint all of the figures , pyramid..etc. The sarcaphagus looks like the ones I am using for IMDN. I can also do a custom acrylic topper, prolly nicer than the one pictured I am sure. I also have gameblades by Tilt Graphics on my site. If they are not listed the Star trek Space ones would look cool on SG. Throw some Illusion Purple powdercoat on there and you got something special.

The transparent topper might not be printed but probably made of two plexiglass with one cut with CNC...It's really hard to find because nobody (except pbressource) got the license or trademark to exploit Stargate copyright.
You can find some free 3d printed files by searching on the web

After looking at some guys mods on their Stargates, I'll just say sometimes less is more.
Now i sold my stargate a few months ago but i always thought it could use a new ship that comes out from behind the pyramid. I mean its really amazing when it happens but the stock ship looks terrible IMO. I painted my ship to look a bit better. But now with 3D printers i bet someone could make a real bad ass looking ship to come out if there. Just a thought.
