No one's disconnecting shit...look - this thing isn't mindblowing, but it'll be a fun light show. It's like saying you're gonna disconnect the ramp lights on Tron LE or take out the color GI zones on AC/DC Prem/LE. These things don't DO anything...they're not high tech...but they're cool.
(For the record I have not purchased STLE...just trying to be objective)

They only "dropped the ball" to us impatient hardcore maniacs. The games still still be made. People still like Star Trek. They've barely started shipping yet....hey, how about that - there will be inventory for people to buy!
